Our Sea kayak Centre is open 7 days a week during the summer months of May, June, July, August, & the first half of September from 9am to 11pm.

We have paddled the waters of Geiranger Fjord for over ten years; detailed information on the fjord has been inventoried. In addition, operating a sea kayaking company in Geiranger for over 10 years has provided us with a wealth of information and a clear understanding of the needs of sea kayakers paddling the fjords.

To provide you with the very best customer service we have staff (internationally certified guides) available seven days a week from early May to mid September. You will receive value far beyond the price of your chosen sea kayak program. Planning a sea kayak trip - whether for a few hours or a few weeks - requires information! Where do you go? What's a good route? Where are the best campsites? What about currents? What to wear, what to bring, etc…  Also, we have a wide selection of touring sea kayaks (no recreational boats) at our sea kayak centre; to suit individuals from 160cm/50kg right up to 190cm/120kg (or larger).

The following programs are offered at our sea kayak centre:

  • Guided day trips
  • Sea Kayak rentals
  • Guide service/sea kayak instruction
  • Outfitting service
  • Transport service

Treat yourself to a paddle on the World's most photographed fjord!

A sea kayak is, without a doubt, the best way to experience Mother Nature’s overpowering command in Geiranger Fjord. The intense sun brings a tropical like warmth to the steep mountain walls, as high as 1500 m, where farms perched on rocky ledges tell tales of children and animals that had to be tethered so they would not fall over the steep cliffs. The Seven Sisters and other cascading waterfalls are truly magnificent. The fjord basin curves between towering mountain peaks so is virtually free from wind: a beautiful place every day of the year.

One of nature’s masterpieces; Geiranger Fjord (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) “The world’s most beautiful fjord” is no exaggeration and it is amidst this dramatic mountain magic that you’ll experience some of Norway’s most spectacular sea kayaking.
