EXPEDITION SKILLS; a Comprehensive Sea Kayak Instructional Program

Our EXPEDITION SKILLS course series is one of the world's leading sea kayak instructional programs. This three tiered curriculum will provide you with the skills to paddle confidently in your local bay, on a multi-week exploration, or wherever your sense of adventure takes you. Our Expedition Skills courses follow a clear progression, starting with new paddlers and building on skills previously learned and practiced.

Coastal Odyssey provides knowledge and experience through using only senior guides; with a minimum of 10 years professional sea kayak guiding/instructing as instructors on our Expedition Skills courses. Providing you with the tools and skills necessary to continue exploring the sea’s mysteries with confidence is our goal. We work in small groups with no more than one guide to 4 paddlers.

We strives to offer every paddler the opportunity to meet their personal goals, stretch their minds and bodies, explore the adventure of sea kayaking by becoming a competent paddler, and to achieve the rewards of accomplishment.
