Expedition Masters

Expedition Masters is for graduates of Expedition Skills II who are ready to journey down a complex and challenging stretch of coastline with experienced expedition paddlers where a firm foundation in seamanship and paddling skills is essential. This course is ideal for people who are ready to undertake a more challenging sea kayak expedition yet, would like to do it with a group of similarly trained paddlers lead by instructors with expedition experience and extensive local knowledge.

The course will be staged along some of the World’s most spectacular and challenging coastlines. We hand pick remote paddling venues known for their majestic natural beauty. 

Once everyone’s paddling and rescue skills have been warmed up the emphasis is shifted to a quick review of seamanship for kayakers relevant to the route in particular and the chosen coastal environment in general. The balance of the course is devoted to paddling one of the most beautiful and challenging routes in the world. Daily planning sessions and debriefings are a core component of this course.
