Registration
Thank you for registering online for a Coastal Odyssey sea kayaking or walking trip.

Payment
Once you receive confirmation for our booking office the full price of the trip will be charged to your credit card. This will guarantee your spot on the trip.

Cancellations
A significant portion of our expenses are committed long before departure, as such an adminstrative fee of 20% is non refundable in the event of cancellation. This applies to all cancellations. Upon receipt of written notice of cancellation, the balance of your trip fee will be refunded according to the following schedule:
1. 60 days or more before departure: full refund less the 20% administrative fee.
2. 59-45 days: 50 % refund
3. 44-30 days: 25 % refund
4. 29 days or less: no refund
There is no compensation given or made for any costs associated with starting a trip late or leaving a trip early.

Inclusive Services
The information package for each trip contains a comprehensive list of equipment and services which are included in the trip cost. Please read these carefully and call our office if you require further information.

Not Included
Airfares, airport taxes (if any), gratuities to staff, insurance of any kind, alcoholic beverages or soft drinks and other items of personal nature are not included in the trip cost. In addition medical costs, costs of hospitalisation and evacuations by helicopter or by any other means are not covered in the trip cost.

Cancelled Trips
Due to the nature of operating in wilderness areas, Coastal Odyssey reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including inadequate sign-up which makes the trip economically unfeasible for us to operate or logistical problems which may impede trip operations. Notice of at least 1 month prior to the departure date will be given for a trip cancellation due to inadequate sign-up. In such a case, a full refund of the trip cost is given, but Coastal Odyssey is not responsible for expenses incurred by trip members in preparation for the trip (e.g. non refundable airline tickets, medical expenses, equipment, etc.).

Delays
If the trip is delayed because of bad weather, cancelled or delayed flights or delays of other modes of transport, sickness or situations for which Coastal Odyssey or its agents cannot make provisions, the cost of delays is not included.

Release from Liability Agreement
All persons participating on a Coastal Odyssey trip are required to complete a Release from Liability Agreement.
